Preface

Life is not always a straight path. It twists, it bends, it breaks, and at times it rebuilds. My story is one of struggle, resilience, divine calling, and unwavering faith in the God who never abandons His children. From my birth in the midst of hardship, through my years of ridicule and rejection, to the divine encounters that have shaped my destiny, I have come to understand that every detail of my life carries a purpose far greater than myself.

When I look back, I see a young girl born into apartheid South Africa, raised by a single mother, and carried by the strength of my grandmother. I see a woman once misunderstood and labelled, even declared mentally ill, yet kept alive by the power of God’s word. I see a servant of Christ called not only to preach but to create, to inspire, and to transform lives through media, storytelling, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This book is not merely my autobiography. It is a testimony. It is a witness to the miraculous hand of God who can take an unpolished diamond and turn it into a vessel of His glory. It is a story of pain refined into purpose, trials reborn into triumphs, and promises fulfilled in God’s perfect timing.

In these pages, I share moments of despair and moments of hope. I share my journey in the media industry, my calling into ministry, my vision for a mission that will restore dignity to the homeless, the mentally ill, and the broken. I share dreams yet to unfold—programs, films, churches, and hospitals—that the Lord has placed in my heart, because faith is not only about what God has done, but about what He is still to do.

If you hold this book in your hands, may it stir your spirit to believe again. May it remind you that your life is no accident. That even in suffering, there is a secret code of destiny written by the Creator. And may it challenge you to ask the question God once asked me: “Are you in or out?”
